Are you excited about the Gem and the Mediterranean?

Cheer up, if something happens where we can't go, we will plan to go on the next one together. Meanwhile Richstan is going to make it and we have to be excited for him.

Good night MG; I've had a rough day.

Not trying to bring the party atmosphere down, but I thought we all might be interested in this.

Here's a map that shows by pinponts what cases there are at the moment. I will say that it has changed significantly in Spain from when I saw it this morning - not saying it's grown, but probably they're trying to get all data loaded?

Okay, seeing it on a map like that IS a little scary.

That's my favorite store right now!

Both Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft are having their friends and family discount until Saturday, I think. Do you have the coupon for it? I "saved" $60! :o)

Hi Cruise Friends!

I am not concerned about the flu. I live in NYC and everyday its something so I am used to the hype!

Someone asked about an ATM location--well based on past cruises it is usually located close to or inside of the casino!

I have to pop into the office for a little bit and then I am on VACATION!

I will do my best to come back with a ton of info!

I will be around til Saturday so this isn't "au revoir" yet!

Yes, but I'm afraid I'm a little maxed out on shopping for now except I'm looking for some comfortable platform strappy heals for the cruise.

I've spent way too much lately getting ready for this cruise. Fortunately, I still had a good bit of money left on a gift card that I received for Christmas. :o) So yesterday's shopping was almost free. :o)

I still have a bunch of other stuff to buy.....security pouches, money belt for DH, secure small cross body purse, one more pair of shoes, travel toothbrush, and I am sure a bunch of stuff I am forgetting right now.

I'm with you on this.

I'm not worried about getting it but that the flu will expand so much that travel advisories would prevent us from going.

My DH and I were talking last night about when we would want to reschedule if it comes down to that. I hope not.

When is a good time for us all to get together on here for your final farewell and bon voyage party? Is Friday night or Saturday morning better and what time?

Friday night--I think would be better! Anytime really! Fun!

I am on vacation.

or returning...

or stopping in ports...

I swear MG don't make me come down there and gag and hog tie you (it's a southern thing folks). You remember the story of Henny Penny? I love you but this worry wart thing is a downer. I'm sorry, with work beginning to pile up on me, I'm beginning to get a little punchy.

Did you see the response from Richstan? What do you think, a drop in from 9 -10 tomorrow night? :)

How wonderful! What a great way to start a marriage. I hope that your marriage will be as fulfilling as mine has been for me. I'm not saying it's always easy but definitely rewarding and worth it.

Thank you!! My fiance and I have been saving for two years so that we would be able to do this just right! He wanted to cruise or do an all-inclusive at a resort. But I wanted to see Europe! So we compromised and found a happy resolution! I hope that this will be a trend for our marriage!

But now that I've recently lost my job, I am looking for ways to cut costs in the ports without compromising our experience.

But, not letting it dampen my excitement!!! :D:D:D

I know what you mean about the money thing. We've been tent camping for the last few vacations in order to save. Thank goodness I like to play survivor but now I'm ready to live high on the hog (no not swine). We eat a lot of dry beans too. I know how to stretch a George into a Ben. ;)

Rich, After you leave I think I might be the only guy left on this thread. Reading about what shoes to wear...lol...

What a great thread though.

Copies of menus would be great. Trying to decide which night to go to LaBistro

I'm not too worried about the flu, nothing we can do about it so why worry.

I wish I could make it, but I can't . I guess I'll have to say my bon voyage this evening to Richstan.

Richstan - Have a wonderful, wonderful trip. Enjoy every moment. See you when you come back. :)

Ok - no more flu talk from me. Sorry about that.:o

Do you mind if I copy and paste some of your Meet and Greet invite. I especially like the part about the true southern accent. That applies to me too you know.

I don't mind at all, daring. :) The one you mentioned is the reminder, but if you go back a page, you will see the actual invitation, a little more "formal."

It won't be the same without you :( Do you have to work? Would a later or earlier time be better?

Thanks Missi,

I might have to reference you at the bottom ;)

I am too excited to sleep!

Tonight between 9-10 is fine---which time zone? The only thing that will prevent me from being here is an emergency trip to CVS----we usually forget somethign at the last minute!
