How much freedom do you give your kids?

Hi,

We are sailing with Royal Caribbean on The Mariner of the Seas in October, I have cruised before but not with the kids. We have 3 kids - The eldest (a boy) will be nearly 14, then we have a 12 yo girl and an 11 yo boy. My instinct (always) is to watch them like a hawk, never let them out of my sight an dbe generally very overprotective. I do try to resist this as I know it is my problem not theirs!!! So my question is how much freedom do you give yuor kids. Is it OK to let the older 2 to come back from the teen lounge on their own and how much freedom do I give the 11 yo.

What rules do you set so that your kids are safe but can enjoy their vacation? How do you get the balance right?

Thanks in Advance

Emma :D
