Jeep Rental Cozumel

Hi

My wife and I will be cruising to Cozumel in January 2010. Yea I know is a ways away. Anyway this will be our 4th time to Cozumel. First 2 times was by cruise and the last was for a week at a all inclusive. Anyway this time we are wanting to rent a jeep or car and drive around the island and was wondering where the best rental places or cheapest were in Cozumel. We will be cruising with Carnival. Any advice or tips will be appreciated. Thanks

We rented Jeeps from Avis right on the Pier. Puerta Maya. It was $80 and we had a blast!!!

We have used Rentadora Isis which is downtown - a cab ride from the Carnival pier. We paid $35 with insurance -- $450 deductible for a VW beetle.

 

There are rental agencies at the Puerta Maya pier which is where most Carnival sips dock. Don't know the prices.
