SEATTLE post cruise hotel/things to do

We will be in Seattle May 14,09 from a Princess cruise. I am not sure what pier we will be disembarking. Any recommendations for getting to the airport and the cost? Is is better to do Princess transfers, taxi or private car? Will there be taxi's lined up @ the cruise port?

 

We may stay 1 or 2 extra days in Seattle. My husband was interested in seeing the space needle. I have read it isn't worth the money...anyone know the cost, is it worth it?

 

We are not interested in renting a car. With this in mind, what are the "must see in Seattle" and where would you recommend to stay for $100-$150 to do the site seeing without a car?

Across the street from the space needle is the "Ducks" It is a 45 min. tour of the city and then goes in the water. Very funny guides. A+++.:)
