9211 on Triumph...anyone with knowledge of this cabin or Lido cabins?

I got a screaming past cruiser deal just last week for 9211 on Triumph.

Anyone got any first hand knowledge of this cabin or the Lido deck cabins in general? I love the idea of just being able to walk back to the pools and the buffet. :)

There are two dining rooms on Triumph...one midship and one aft...does anyone know how they assign the dining rooms? I would think that most forward cabins would be given the midship (London) dining room. Does anyone know if this holds true? I'd hate to have to head from the bow to the stern for dinner every night. Ahh, the troubles we encounter...lol :p

I got the upsell call yesterday. They wanted to know if I wanted to upgrade from the lido balcony to a cat 11 for an additional $250pp. It would end up making it about $750 pp for the cat 11. While I like the idea of having a bigger cabin, a fridge and the VIP boarding etc...and the price is great for a suite, I just couldn't do the extra right now.

Almost afraid to go for the suite though...lol...I'm afraid it might be like getting that first balcony cabin. Once you try it you just don't want to go back.

I have stayed in a balcony cabin on the Lido deck on the Triumph. It was a great location. The only downside was when it rained. To get to the buffet we would go down one floor walk across and then go back up. If you didn't mind getting wet then no problem. We had dinner in the mid dining room. Iwould stay on the Lido deck again. It was great.

Awesome location for a room! Go for it! We stayed in an inside (9223) last year and loved the location. Make sure you go out the "secret" door at the end of the hall (forward) and take a look out. If one of you stands on your balcony the other can take a picture of you from out there!

Also, easy to get to breakfast and everywhere else, no elevator noise - great location! We did have dinner in the aft dining room, however, it was nice to walk through Deck 5 past the casino, sushi, etc to get to dinner. We just took the aft elevators. You are going to most likely go down there for pictures any way.

Have an awesome trip!!! You're getting a great (in my opinion) location

Thanks, it does look to be a great location. We had the choice between there and on deck 8, but all the available cabins were under the pool or buffet area so we thought there could be overhead noise.

My concern about the dining room is that my partner isn't able to walk as far as he used to be able to...so hoping for the London dining room. If not, we can always ask the maitre d'
