I am wandering where topack my Dinner Suit. In the suitcase or in a suit carrier, if the latter can I carry this on with me on my flight. I hope someone can help me with this please so any tips would be much appreciated.

You sound like you're in the same boat as me. I'm on Royal Caribbean in June but can only take 1 suitcase and 1 item of hand luggage. So mine will have to go into the case and I'll take less casual stuff and get it cleaned as we go along. It's no good, 1 case weighing 20kg. for 2 weeks.

I know, I'm going to do a test pack next week to see how it goes. I might need a bigger suitcase and perhaps pay excess baggage charges.

Or we might resort to the buffet restaurant for the dinners and not take the suit  :D.

At least if we cruise from UK we don't need to worry about baggage ammounts.

We might try that next time

roll it up in a ball for all it matters my friend .... they have a 1st class pressing service on board, hand it to your cabin steward by 10am and it's back by 5pm! i forget the cost, but it's no more than 3 or 4 pound IIRC..

i did it as i unpacked, and the next morning after a formal night! thats why i remember the cost being low, as otherwise i would have only done it the once!
