Large pool area in Costa Maya Question

We will be there in March on the Grand Princess. I have seen pictures of a pool in town that is very close to the ship and looks to be in a shopping/restaurant area. Is there a fee to use the pool and beach?

No fee that I know of.

This is the pool in the purposely built cruise ship pier for all the passengers. If you are a little adventuorous venture out to the town of Mahahual and be pleasantly surprised.

there are actually 2 pools in that area,,,one is right on the beach...it wasnt very well cared for though as the bottom was covered with algae. the larger pool was fun, and dancers danced around the edge near the fountains,,,was really cool. the beach has lots of chairs, hammocks and shade and you can order food right from the beach!!!

 

im glad though that we went into town for awhile as that beach was really nice!!!
