escentialssoycandles Posted April 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2009 There is a swimming lagoon which is really relaxing, hammocks, small shopping area and the buffet lunch. We did not do the dolphin thing and had a great time, the day goes by quickly!

Does the cost include lunch? Can you snorkel? Are there "toys" or other things for kids? Thanks again!!!
scubagirrl Posted April 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2009 Thank you for the reply. Can you tell me what it cost? Does the cost include lunch? Can you snorkel? Are there "toys" or other things for kids? Thanks again!!! If you are doing the Dolphin or sealion program, the Blue Lagoon beach is open for use every day except Sunday and thursday. If you just want to use the beach/lagoon, you can make a reservation for the ferry and beach day. The cost is $45pp/$35 for kids. It includes the ferry, beach, lunch, hammocks and mats/noodles. You can rent water trikes and snorkeling gear for an additional fee. This is a quiet lagoon.. you won't find jetskis or any other motorized sports equipement. The private island is laid back and pristine. If you're kids need more entertainment than a beach and dolphins.. it's not the place for them. here's some pics.. might give you idea of the idyllic little lagoon. http://travel.webshots.com/album/570114841yENJJP http://travel.webshots.com/album/569019735ZTMpfa
