please can someone tell me about the wine packages

I have just received an email from P nd O which states they do not have wine packages. The price of a glass house wine(175ml) is £2.35 1/4 bottle is £2.70 A measure of spirits(eg gin ,whiskey etc) is from £2.00.

There are normally packs of 6 bottles including whites, reds and a mixture of both. These can be ordered from your wine steward in the dining room who gives you coupons and you choose which wine you want from your selection and provide the coupon as you go through the cruise . Some wine waiters keep the coupons for you. It works very well and there is a cost saving in having the pack of 6 bottles which are charged to your on board account. Any wine left over is saved for you and waiting for you the next night.From memory, the packs cost around £70

Hi - Can these packages only be bought on board ?

 

On previous cruises with Royal Caribbean we have been able to purchase something similar before hand, but looking at the available personalisation of your cruise on the P&O site there would not appear to be this option - thanks
