We will be in Nassau on a Sunday from 8:30 till 1:30 and I am looking for recommendations for this short time frame. We are wanting to check out a beach and Atlantis. We dont plan on doing any excursions at this port.

If you want a private taxi or don't want to wait for a van to fill....walk all the way out of the terminal to the street....you can either look for a small taxi and just pay the $4/pp rate or choose a taxi van and negotiate a little higher prices than the $4/pp fee just to take your party over. At Atlantis you can walk around the lobby, casino and Marina Village...you will not have access to the pool area or The Dig (aka aquarium). Located next door to Atlantis is Cabbage Beach....it's public and free.
