Getting ready to book valor--former rccl traveler

I am getting ready to book a cruise on the Valor in September, for myself, husband, daughter (20) and BF (21). We've only sailed RCCL, 4x and I am looking for an affordable cruise. RCCL has just priced themselves out of my range, but of course, never been on Carnival and a little weary of the difference. Would like to hear from RCCL travelers who've also been on Carnival!:)

ive cruised both lines and i loved both....i was on the explorer in 2003 and i am booked on the valor in october for my honeymoon!!!

I have only cruised Carnival, but I love them. You won't be dissapointed.

You will love the Valor! We have been on her twice and love both cruises. Just have to go into this cruise without making comparisons until after. I heard both lines are very similar but the food is supposed to be better on Carnival.
