gman5613 Posted May 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2009 I was wondering if someone has a list of activities the kids do in camp carnival. I would love to tell my boys what to excpect when they go. They think it will not be any fun. I did not know what kind of things they did throughout the day. I have search the carnival site and can't really find anything. I might not be looking in the right place. Thanks. I have so many questions. This is our first cruise! Well I was on the Fantasy years ago! SouthernBelle_N_Louisiana Posted May 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2009 My boys are 6 & 8. That would be great! Thank you! We sailed Ecstasy May 08 with our 6 yr old son. He loved it. Favorite activity was the 3 day science project of building a volcano, filling the volcano and then blowing it up. The camp counselors have been awesome on all 3 ships we have sailed (Fantasy, Elation and Ecstasy). When you board the ship, a camp counselor will greet you and give you the info on the parent/child meeting the first night on board. You need to go and fill out paperwork and get all the info on the week's activities. You will have a hard time getting them out once they get in there. The kids really have the best activities on board... seriously, they do!! :) Your boys will make lots of friends that week and they will be in the same group, 6-8 yr olds. Makes it easy on you because you would have to drop them off at 2 separate locations possibly, depending on the ship. What ship are you sailing on? When? We are on Legend 6/7/9 out of Tampa. Would be great if we were all on the same boat!

happybooker1 Posted May 6, 2009 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2009 Two of his favorite activities were the shirt 'painting' -- really coloring with permanent markers and the tour of the ship. On our cruise they took the kids to the engine room and where the anchor comes up -- neat places that the regular peeps don't get to go! And the shirts were furnished free for the painting. Actually he's 12 now & I just this year put up the cruise shirt he painted (since it was a large it fit him for several years).
