Puerto Vallarta resort hotel ship excursion with Princess

Anyone been on the Mexican Riviera ship excursion with the Diamond Princess to a Puerta Vallarta resort? Would love to know how you liked it, how the hotel and lunch were and if there was shade by the pool...

We went on the Diamond in October and did the ship excursion/hotel. The hotel is Paradise Village, this hotel is great, it has 2 pools with shade. The lunch buffet was great.
