West Water Adventure Turtle & Shipwreck Tour

We didn't book - we just showed up at Folkestone. We just got the public bus there - under US$1.50 each. It was okay, but they just take you back down the coast to Paynes Bay - where everyone else is. If you haven't snorkelled with turtles before you'll love it, if you have (like us) you'll find it so, so and to be honest I wasn't happy with the "human created" zoo like atmosphere where they feed wild animals. JMO. The ship wreck was a waste of time and the guide just kept on crapping on all the time.

If you book the excursion you get transport and snorkling gear etc.....right?

If you just hop off a public bus is the turtle area free? Or is there a gate with an entrance fee etc. ? If so, how much?
