Carol D. Posted April 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2004 When dining in the Olympic restauraunt, the charge of 30.00pp, is that considered the tip for the waitstaff, or is a tip expected along with the charge? Is there any guidelines on the amount of how much the tip should be? For a couple paying 60.00 to dine in the Olympic, should we tip 20-25% of 60.00? more? Less? we want to do the right thing! and an I right to assume that we tip the sommelier also, or is that gratuity already added? Faygelah Posted April 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Your $30 fee is the tip for the waitstaff, though you are, of course, free to increase it for good service. Likewise, a tip will be added to your wine purchase or, alternately, the corkage fee willl be used as gratuity for the sommelier.
