NCL highchairs?

Do the highchairs available in the MDR/specialty restaurants/buffet have an "eating surface" (tray) attached or are they the sit in and pullup to the table type you see at most restaurants?

 

I have a 10 month old who is starting to eat true solids but obviously can't reach very far and needs some sort of tray.

They were the pull up to the table type on the Jewel.

 

We bought the disposable plastic placemats with adesive backing and used them.

 

Worked great.

On NCL Sun, they had both the wooden kind with no tray, and the gray plastic ones that do have a tray.

On NCL Dawn, they had the plastic gray ones with the tray that you could choose not to use (we used it!).

When DD was 2 we never had a problem with high chairs on the Dawn. Plastic with a tray that was removable. We took off the tray and scooted the high chair right up to the table where she felt like "one of us."

We just got off the Sky yesterday, and they had grey plastic highchairs with a removable tray in the restaurants and buffet area. There didn't seem to be many available in the buffet - I saw 4 or 5 sitting out at most times - but thankfully there weren't many young children on our ship. It could be that they have more stored away somewhere to bring out if needed though.
