Fishing in Ketchican or Juneau?

Hi,

Going on the Star Princess middle of June and would love any input as to which port to go on the fishing excursion. My instinct tells me Ketchican but since this is our first trip to Alaska I'm looking for feedback.

We have been fishing twice in Ketchikan with Ken of Northern Lights. We will be going out again this year (mid-June). The first time we fished for salmon and caught our limit (late July). The second time we fished for halibut (late May). Not much luck, but had an enjoyable day feeding the bald eagles! Here is a link:

DH will be going with Northern LIghts as the other poster mentioned he did. This is our first Alaskan cruise so can post from experience, but as to customer service, Ken has been top notch!! DH and I have tossed around cancelling some of our excursions because we are over budget, but DH won't budge on this one!!:D
