chihuahuamama Posted May 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2009 Does anyone know if the Carnival casionos offer 2X or full double odds (2.5X on 6/8 and 2X on all other points) on the pass line bets? I've always assumed it was 2X but never asked.

I've always assumed it was 2X but never asked. Only 2X, not full double. Early one night I had a pretty good throw going, 'cept I was the only one on the table! Quietest 5 or 6 points in a row I ever made.
Casino Player Posted May 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2009 Does anyone know if the Carnival casionos offer 2X or full double odds (2.5X on 6/8 and 2X on all other points) on the pass line bets? I've always assumed it was 2X but never asked. The Carnival Casinos offer 2x odds. However, in my experience when you have a ten dollar pass line bet, or a come bet, and the next number rolled is six or eight the dealer will allow you to put $25 dollar odds instead of $20. This is a fair bet. All Casinos in Atlantic City allow this bet. In Las Vegas some will allow it and some won't. They don't allow you to push the house on four or ten either. And they don't allow you to buy the four or ten for $35 for a $1 commission. If you put more than $25 dollars out there then they will charge you an extra dollar commission. Always try to push the house. It is to your advantage. Just because one dealer or pit boss won't accept a bet doesn't mean that another one wouldn't. If you keep pushing and others do too, maybe they will give you a better game. They do in Atlantic City.
