Rainforest Tram tour info please.

I signed up for the Rainforest tram tour. I am taking my mother because it looked easy for her. She is 80 but in great shape for her age. She has trouble with stairs. What I really want to know is... will I be allright taking her on this excursion? My hubby and kids are going white water rafting. My husband was worried that I might encounter stairs and have trouble helping her by myself.
