Fairmont Waterfront Hotel

We stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel on May 7th the day before we boarded Rhapsody of the Seas for our cruise to Alaska. What a great hotel. It is directly across the street from Canada Place and all you have to do is walk across the street and you are at the ship terminal. The bell desk will come to your room the morning you get on the ship and take your bags from your room and deliver them to the ship terminal. What a deal!!!! We walked down the waterfront to Corderos for dinner on Thursday night and it was great. This hotel may be a bit pricey but for the convenience you can't beat it.

It is a wonderful hotel and so convenient to Canada Place. Its a Fairmont but not in the style of their Canadian railway hotels such as Banff, Chateau Laurier, etc

It is certainly high in the top 5 large hotels in Vancouver....likely #2, neck and neck with the Pan Pacific across the street.

We have a waterfront view room and breakfast with it before we have to get to the ship,Serenade of the Seas, Sept 19,2009. I loved the pics of it on their web site. And it is a splurge but it is our 30th and we are making it the trip to remeber.Capecoddah
