Pride: Main deck vs Verandah?

Hi all,

 

My wfie and I are taking our first cruise this Oct on the Pride. We have booked a balcony on the Main Deck (CAT: 8B). But I see an upgrade to a balcony on the Verandah deck isn't much more.

 

Does it really make a difference?

Like my PVP said just yesterday. On the Verandah deck you will have state rooms above and below you. It can cut down on the noise.
