I have seen the Boardwalk which looks nice would anybody reccomend go here? How much would taxi be? or is there busses available? Or any other things to do that we could do ourselves? Thanks in advance! Depending on the day you are in port...Bridgetown will be open and tyou can shop there duty free and sample some local restaurants. Its about 10 minutes walk from the port. There are also some historic churches within Bridgetown as well and lots of interesting architecture. All these places are withing walking distance from the cruise port or a short taxi ride. You could go to nearby Brandon's/Malibu beach and relax..all beaches in Barbados are free. It all depends on what you are interested in doing. Are the shops around the Boardwalk area? Thanks! Yup everything will be open on Tuesday...the only day things would be closed is Sunday.
