jp2001 Posted June 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2009 Two nightly shows (production shows or special guest singing, playing an instrument). There are also some movie nights. Of course, there are many lounges, pubs and bars to have a drink and enjoy different types of music: - Ball room dancing or Carribean band in the Queen Lounge - Jazz trio in the Chart lounge - Piano in the lobby or in one of the bars - Karaoke in the pub - DJ or Carribean band in G32 nightclub - Etc. Q-step Posted June 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Can you get the whole 6 days worth of daily programs ahead of time? We want to plan which night to go to Todd English's and my wifes wants a hair appointment for the ball. We may also book in some spa treatments at times when other activities are really not our style. Being able to plan ahead ( a little) would be helpful. jp2001 Posted June 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2009 You cannot get the dailies ahead of time but if a fellow CC post those of a sailing not too far from yours, most things should remain the same. Also, the spa (including the salon) closes at 8pm every night so this won't be an option for after dinner. I forgot to say they also have an art gallery and photo gallery if you feel like just walking around, watching stuff and of course a casino. Do you have late sitting? I did have late sitting and I must say that it didn't need much to fill the night. We finished dinner between 10-11pm, sometimes a show and then just went to one of the lounges for one hour or two and I went to bed. Never went to the movie night even if I intended too, I was too busy :)
smoothdancer Posted June 12, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 12, 2009 If your wife goes to the spa for an appointment they do know in advance what nights are the formal nights and can help her with her booking.
capnpugwash Posted June 12, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Normally nights 2,3 and 5 are formal, 4 is semi formal and 1 and 6 are smart casual.
