luvnorway Posted June 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2009 In response to a question asked of me on the HAL forum re getting to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne de Beaupré: This is the website for public transit in Quebec City. http://www.rtcquebec.ca/francais/new_customer_/a_new_customer.html We did not take the bus to Montmorency Falls, but I would ask at the Tourist Information desk in the cruise terminal - they were giving many people advice about how to get to places using the local buses and Montmorency was one I heard mentioned several times. If you want to go on an organized tour to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne de Beaupré, but not take a ship's shorex due to the inflated prices and the fact that you have to pre-book, not knowing what the weather will be like, there is a kiosk selling tours that is located in front of the Chateau Frontenac, right at the top of the stairs up from the Lower Town (not as challenging as the exaggerations we heard - easily climbed if you're mobile and healthy) - this is also where the funicular arrives up from the Lower Town. Hope this helps.
Rabbitlady Posted June 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Thanks for this as well. I couldn't find any bus for Ste-Anne's. Oh well. Maybe we'll try the kiosks. Rabbitlady and hubby
