spencercoop Posted June 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I am leaving for my cruise in less than 2 weeks and I have a packing list, but I want to make mine better. I was wondering if anyone had any packing lists they were willing to share with me. You can email them to spencercoop at cox dot net if you wouldn't mind. Thank You. gail811 Posted June 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Helpful tips and things to bring on cruise TOILET PAPER! Take a picture of your sail and sign card with your camera when you get on board; if you misplace your camera it can find you! Downy Wrinkle Release (travel size bottle at Wal-Mart) Small power strip (only one outlet per cabin!) Nightlight (with air freshener is nice!) Extension cord (there is usually only one plug in the stateroom) Books Ziplocs Extra bag to bring home souvenirs that won’t fit in your suitcase! (Carnival sells them pretty cheap in their gift shops if you forget) Post it notes (good to leave messages on cabin doors for others in your group) Duct tape (I bring a small amount) Super glue (got mine at the $ store and someone has needed it every trip!) Toiletry bag that hangs (saves space in the bathroom) Business cards made on the computer for handing out to new friends Small size first aid supplies/medicines since they can be hard to find on board Beach bag, tote or backpack or fanny pack for excursions An over the door pocket shoe holder (I got a child sized one at the dollar store to put sunglasses, sunscreen etc. in; helps stay organized with children!) Clothespins for hanging your swimsuit in the bathroom. A rain poncho (dollar store) Bug spray for the Caribbean (never used it, but good to have) Underwater camera (or waterproof bag) Disposable camera for the kids to use A highlighter (each day they put a “newspaper” in your cabin with all the next days’ activities. The highlighter helps you plan your day. At least $20 in one’s for tips List of any medications you take, and a week and a half supply. Small amount of detergent in case you want to hand wash something. (Wal-mart also has these in their travel size section) Small empty spray bottle (nice to cool off with when on deck sunning, or on an island!) Binoculars Camera/film/extra sticks for digital camera Batteries Battery charger Sunglasses Water shoes or sandals Pre-moistened wipes Insulated mug with lid Battery powered alarm clock (there is no clock in the cabin) Sunscreen Binder clips for the shower curtain (weight) Crystal Light “On the Go” packets Flavored creamers (ship only offers milk and ½ and ½ ) Travel size spray air freshener Eyeglass repair kit PHOTO PRICES 8x10 $21.99 5x7 $7.99 6X9 $8.99 (Gangway pictures)

gail811 Posted June 18, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2009 You are welcome! I add a little more to it each cruise, or delete things I don't use. The clips for the shower curtain are a big HELP! I found some at the dollar store that are bigger and much heavier, and really keep the curtain from blowing out and getting the floor wet.
