Bringing liquid on board?

Doing some last minute packing and I know that to fly there are strict rules about bringing anything liquid on board...but what about cruise ships? Can I bring things like hair spray, perfume, etc., on my carry on? And if yes, does it all have to be brand new/sealed? If anyone could clear this up I'd appreciate it :-)

No worries about the amount of, specific oz's. or sealed items for the cruise.

Those kinds of things are all ok in your carryon. For some reason though, I had to throw out the bottle of water I was drinking from when I went through security to get on the Legend back in March. I could have kept it if it'd been unopened. I had refilled a bottle before I got on the plane and still had it with me.

This is probably because they don't want anyone smuggling liquor on board.
