Mexican Riviera returning San Diego Return Flight time

Need you cruise critic members help.

Would 11:00 AM flight be to early.

Ship is to Debark in San Diego should be off ship by 9:00AM ? I understand that the airport in San Diego is just about 15 minutes away from cruise terminal.

Can we make that 11:00AM Flight???

You should make it just fine as long as there is not a customs issue clearing the ship. We did a 10:30 once from San Diego and were fine but that is a little early! The airport is less than 15 mintues away and there will be cabs lined up to take you there.

Yes you can, but take a cab. Airport is real closeby.

Donot use the transfers by the cruiseline- that sometimes takes too long.

We did get transfers to and from airport with HAL.

Would I need to let HAL know while on board at the service-information desk than we would not be using the transfer.

I didn't know if they might have a list or something that they check off as you get on the bus/van that would be taking you to the airport to make sure they had everyone on the list.

The Airport is only 2 or 3 miles away. A cab shouldn't cost you that much and I know ships usually gouge you on a transfer price so you should consider a cab.
