i wonder were the buiding site comment come from, do u think there's work going on at the moment. thanks again trish x

 

The 'building site' comment came from the fact that extensive building work seemed to be going on in just about every part of Gib that we visited, complete with the resulting dust and a general air of chaos: I can't imagine it has finished, but perhaps you'll be lucky and the credit crunch has caused them all to down tools. FWIW, I think an overview-type tour is worthwhile on your first visit, just to see the sights as you are there anyway.

 

The best view from the place was that of QM2 docked in the port, a view you won't be able to enjoy if you cruise with P&O:D.
