NOS or Norwegian Jewel

Still trying to decide on the Navigator of the Seas or NCL Jewel. They are both western cruises but NCL is a 7-day versus RCL is a 5 day. The price is about the same so we would get to more days.

However, there seems to be so much to do on the NOS. We have a 9 year old.

Any suggestions?

Very tough question....you will likely get different answers on each line's board. Our family of 5 has been on 5 cruises on Voyager class ships including 2 on Navigator. Most recently we were in a suite on Norwegian Gem (Sister of Pearl)

With regard to the ship, there is absolutely no comparison...much more to do on the Navigator. Much better for kid's program and things to do on the ship.

However, if you have a Suite on Norwegian and access to the Courtyard, that will absolutely make your vacation.

Finally, you can not discount 7 days vs. 5.

My choice: find a 7 day cruise on a Voyager or Freedom class ship.
