I know this is probably a stupid question but here goes. I just applied for a NCL CC and it says that you get get one point for every retail purchase. What exactly do they consider a retail purchase? I pay most of my bills with my CC so are they considered "retail"?

Thanks

Yes they are. Everything except cash advances, and balance transfers.

You get one point per dollar for regular purchases and 2 points for purchases from NCL. But you can get more points by buying online through the Bank of America credit card rewards site. I like Clinique and by buying through the BofA credit card site I get 5 points per dollar. They have lots of different stores and you can get up to 10 points per dollar.
