can anyone give their review of the airboat ride in Belize-what you see

 

How the ride is and how long youre actually in the air boat?

Cave tubing is what most people I know talk about doing in Belize, maybe a mayan tour, don't even think of shopping outside the fenced area!

Well yes i understand about cave tubing but i was asking for a review of the airboat ride-we have been to belize before and went to Altun Ha and arent beach people-so looking for something else to do

We did this over a year ago and had a great time. You start in a bus with air and tour half of belize city then go to the airboats. You spend about one hour on the boat. It is alot of fun each boat holds about sixteen. There are clean bathrooms at the airboat station. when you leave you go back to belize and tour the rest of belize city.

We also did the airboat tour a couple yearsa ago, and it was great! You get a tour of the city by bus and then a nice ride on the airboat.

Do you see alligators like on the Florida air boats? What kind of wild life do you see?

We didn't see any alligators, mostly just birds. The guide said that they do see Manatees on occasion.
