Verizon Cell Phone Service on Caribbean Princess?

I have Verizon, and all the Princess ships were listed in Verizon web site as having service, except Caribbean Princess.

 

 

Has anyone had any recent experience on ship with Verizon.

The CB does have cell phone service. All of the Princess ships have it provided through MCP, Maritime Communications Partner. Here is a link to their web site that shows all of the ships that they currently provide service on.

This is a Norway based company and your bill will probably show the charges as being from Noraway no matter where your cruise is located. The charge for using it on Verizon is $2.49 per minute. With Verizon to have access to this service on the ship you have to have International Roaming activated before you leave home. You can call customer service to have this done.

I have had Int'l Roaming for many years, but cruise ships never had service. Looks like most, if not all lines now have service.

 

My last cruise in Feb, (Oceania) ship had service.
