Which nights are formal on Independence 14 nt Med

hi,

 

i have searched, but not managed to find a specific answer.

 

we are off 1 Aug on independence on the 14 night med cruise.

 

i would be very grateful for your best guess in advance for which nights will be formal.

 

we will do formal one or two nights, but would like to take a chance booking portofino in advance for one or two nights in smart / casual.

 

the itinerary is:

 

Day 1 sea

Day 2 sea

Day 3 gibralter

Day 4 sea

Day 5 cannes

Day 6 livorno

Day 7 civitavecchia

Day 8 cagliari

Day 9 sea

Day 10 cadiz

Day 11 lisbon

Day 12 vigo

Day 13 sea

Day 14 return to southampton

 

just had to pause while typing there - thought we were going to barcelona, but it seems not :confused: - must have been one of the other itineraries we were looking at....:mad:

Don't think they publish the actual dates but they do say 3 nights

My GUESS would be either day 1 or 2 and day 4 & 9 not day 13 -

Formals are usually on sea days (but not if the sea day is last night)especially in the Med when ships tend to leave later.

If you are in a Suite you can e-mail the Concierge.

:mad: unfortunately no suite

 

we need to go to the dining room anyway to ensure the MTD's ok so maybe just need to wait until then in the hope portofino slots are still available.

He will/should email you approx 2 weeks before sailing to introduce himself and advise of what services he offers.
