Has anyone tried more than one Stinrgray City snorkel excursion...I have read several reiviews about different excursions offered but has anyone taken a stingray city/snorkel trip with 2 different companies and compared them -- if so do you prefer one over the other and why??? Leaving in about a week... and there are quite a few that many have enjoyed...but I wonder if anyone has done a direct comparison...not counting the ones offered by the cruise lines. Thanks :p

Can't help you for this trip to Grand Cayman.

I will be trying a 2nd company on my next cruise to GC in January.

We did Nativeways in February and had a good time.

The excursion itself was great. (except Rum Point)

But the company seemed extremely disorganized.

They have 3 boats and we had to meet up with both the other boats at various times during our excursion, to exchange passengers, since they apparently loaded the wrong passengers on the various boats when we all loaded back at the dock.

Probably wasted 30 minutes of our day going out of our way to exchange passengers.

We wound up with barely an hour at Rum Point Beach at the end of the day.

Also we were told that we would be back to the pier in plenty of time.

There were 15 of us on our boat. (after all the swapping)

7 of us were on the Carnival Freedom, 6 on a RCCL ship and a couple on another ship.

When the van got back to the pier, the 7 of us on the Carnival Freedom had to run to the tender, as we had 5 minutes before the "last" tender.

This left the RCCL people only 35 minutes themsleves.

In January we plan on trying Stingray Sailing, which has had alot of incredibly positive reviews.

Best of luck choosing a great excursion.

Stingray City is definitely not to be missed.
