HeatherB0923 Posted July 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2009 I read that on the last Friday of the month there is a free High Tea at the Government House in Nassau put on by local businesses and the People to People program and that tourists are more than welcome. I'm curious if anybody has done this and what it was like. The only place I've seen info about this is in a review on tripadvisor from March 2009, so I guess I'm also wondering if they still do it..?? Thanks

It's really quite nice. You get to rub elbows with local business people, politicians etc. Very refined. If you enjoy the "ceremony" of High Tea, this would make for an enjoyable adventure. I believe we were seated tables of 6 with tiered display of pastry, finger sandwiches, scones etc. and individual tea set ups. I would certainly recommend it.
