Rare rjm11 Posted July 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Has anyone done the Alaska Undersea semisubmersible tour in Ketchikan? I believe the boat is called the Nautilus? Sounds interesting, but of course I'm wondering if there's much to see down there (and even if there is, how well can you see it)! I will be in Ketchikan a relatively short amount of time (on the NCL Pearl; 6am to 1:30 I think) with a 3 year old and 4 year old, and looking for something to do. Any suggestions welcome; we enjoy all things outdoors, animals/wildlife in particular. Our itinerary thus far: Juneau: Harv and Marv private outing (there are 5 of us) Skagway: rent a car and drive to Emerald Lake I was also considering the Ketchikan Rainforest Sanctuary hike, but haven't read great reviews of this tour on this site (especially after the addition of the zipline which apparently scares wildlife away). thanks in advance... becky
