Here are sample lunch and dinner menus for Giovanni's. Honestly I can't remember where I got them but at least it's a start.

Lunch Menu

APPETIZERS and SALADS

Focaccia della Casa

Italian flat potato and herb bread accompanied with marinated artichokes, freshly made pine nut pesto, marinated olives.

Frittura Mista per 2:

Fried shrimps, calamari, fish fillets and green zucchini with Aioli

Antipasti per Due:

2 kinds of Italian Salami, Prosciutto, marinated anchovies or sardines, grilled artichokes, roasted peppers, zucchini, mixed olives, Gambonzola with toasted ciabatta

Insalata Caprese per Due:

Caprese Salad for 2

Insalata di fagioli misti e pesce marinato- Lunch

Mixed beans (Cannellini, lima and fava beans) and seafood salad with Arugula and Mache lettuce

Focaccie alla Giovanni:

Italian flat breads Giovanni’s Table style for 2 with a choice of: Margherita, Mushroom and Prosciutto, Arugula and Parmesan shavings

Insalata di Rughetta e Bresaola:

Italian cured beef, arugula and parmesan shaving salad

Insalata alla Cesare:

Your choice of Romaine or Radicchio Caesar Salad

Risotto Pomodoro, Basilico, mozzarella e verdure alla griglia:

Tomato, basil and mozzarella risotto topped with grilled vegetables and herb oil

Lasagna tradizionale al sugo di carne:

Traditional rich meat lasagna

Taglierini ai Calamari, Capesante, pomodorini e pesto:

Taglierini Pasta tossed with cherry tomatoes, calamari, Bay scallops and pesto

ENTREES

Bistecca di Manzo alla griglia, patate fritte all’olio di tartufo, salsa al Barolo o Burro di Gorgonzola:

Grilled 8 OZ Striploin Steak, truffled oil flavored fries, Barolo reduction or Gorgonzola butter.

Filetto di pollo ripieno di ricotta e funghi, fonduta di Parmigiano, salvia e Chardonnay:

Chicken Breast filled with ricotta and mushrooms, wrapped in prosciutto, Chardonnay, sage and Parmesan fondue

Polpette alla Romana:

Milk Fed Veal Meat balls in a rich Roman tomato herb sauce

Sole fillets in a lemon butter sauce, grilled garlic zucchini spaghetti and onion braised potatoes.

Beef Carpaccio, cold back truffle paste sabayon, grape tomatoes and mache lettuce

Antipasti per Due:

2 kind of Italian Salami, prosciutto, marinated anchovies, grilled artichokes, roasted peppers, zucchini, olives and Gambonzola, all served with toasted Ciabatta .

Insalata Caprese per Due:

Caprese Salad for 2

Carpaccio di salmone marinato all' olio di oliva, capperi e limone :

Dry cured salmon carpaccio with lemon segments, capers, extra virgin olive oil and toasted ciabatta

Insalatina tiepida di petto d’Anatra marinato in Aceto balsamico, Asparagi ed insalatina mista:

Warm Magret Duck breast marinated in Balsamico, asparagus and mixed lettuces

Sformato di Fontina e Spinaci con funghi trifolati e pomodorini:

Double baked Fontina and Spinach souffle’, Italian style sautéed mushrooms and baby egg tomatoes
