taxes and fees for alcohol on carnival

I was on the fantasy two months ago a bought a few bottles of alcohol, but I didn't go over our limit so I was not charged any extra fees. I plan on taking a short cruise on the imagination in September and I wanted to really stock up on alcohol, what is the average cost or fees when you go over your limit, thanks a bunch!!!

It varies dependant upon alcohol content. I usually but rums and flavored rums and I usually have to pay about 1.85 per liter . And usually as long as you are single digit bottles , at least in my experience , they don't usually charge but it is up to the agent you see.
