Synical Investor Posted July 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2009 I'd recommend the Princess Beach (Playa Revolcadero).
gomexico Posted July 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2009 will be there in dec and would LOVE to horseback ride on the beach...any one done this and can you recommend where....THANKS MUCHLY for any info;) There is no horseback riding option at any of the beaches in Acapulco - the center/tourist areas - that I'm aware of. You'll have to travel maybe an hour or more outside the city (travel time from the cruise ship terminal) to find it - at the beach near the Princess Resort (as indicated above) and out at Barra Vieja and in the other direction from the city at Pie de la Cuesta. ACA_Port Authority Posted July 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2009 A few cruise lines offer horse back riding tours; IMHO if you really wish to do this activity, go with a ship sponsored tour. I don't recommend doing this activity on your own, in case of an injury, you may have a very difficult time getting a hold of the ship or some one that speaks English. The people that rent this horses do not have any sort of medical assistance , insurance or safety standards. If you still wish to arrange it on your own, make sure you have the ship's agent contact information with you.
