Money for table games in Casino?

I have just used cash for table games. I think this is the easiest way to play. The slots allow you to charge your S&S card for no fee, but I don't remember that the tables allowed you to do this.

Of course if you wanted to mess around on the slots, you could put money on your card by sticking it in the machine, selecting an amount to charge to your room, cash out of the machine, then you would have to go to the cashier to get the money, you could technically charge your S&S card. This seems like a lot of effort if you can just throw some bills on the table and be done with it:D

Is the charge for cash in the casino on Carnival.

FYI - NCL does not charge (or at least did not as of 2 yrs ago.)

I used to do a little creative finaicing....You could take as much as (I think) 2,000 a day for free on NCL.

So I would take the max (I think it was 2k) a day...put the cash in the safe.

When I got home, I would deposit the cash that day...and immediatly write a check to the Credit card company (to avoid any fees).

That way on a 7 day cruise i would earn 14,000 (plus additonal spending) points. Almost enought for a free flight....or at least a couple of free nights in a hotel for our next vacation.

Don't do it as much anymore (not worth the hassle in the end)....but did it a number of times.
