Parking in Bayonne, N.J.

Recommended Posts

We are planning to sail VOS in Sept. NY port now changed to Bayonne.
1) What are the parking facilities at the pier?
2) What is the cost?
3) Would you suggest driving(gasoline$$$$)
or take a limo?

I'm going to Cape Liberty on 5/21. Search the web or somewhere here there's a link with info.

$12.00 per/day cash no charge cards.

Read there was plenty of parking.

As for driving vs limo you need to compare prices. We are driving it's only 2 of us and a limo would cost much more R/T.

Look for a post about the port here. I don't know how to attached the link but it always seems to be on page 1 or 2.

The other thread is titled: I've seen the terminal in NJ or Bayonne ( something like that) should be on the first few pages.

From what I understand the parking area is about 1/2 mile from the ship and they bus you down to the ship.

Thanx for the help. We can get a limo for less than the total parking for 10 days. Since the parking is still a half mile from the ship and we have to drag the luggage to a bus, we will limo it!

From what I've read, check in is 1/2 mile from the ship. You will be bused to the ship after check in.
