C. Anne Posted August 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2009 We are sailing out of Galveston in November right after "fall back" daylight savings. If it is 7 AM when we get to GC port in November, what time is it GC time? I heard they are eastern standard time, but do not do daylight savings. Does that mean it will be 2 hours later there than on the boat? Just trying to make a stingray excursion work and don't know if they leave too early for our boat. Thank you, C. Anne It will be 1 hour later in GC. The Conquest will be on CST and GC will be on EST.
GeneHunter Posted August 9, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2009 First note if your ship stays on "Ship's Time" or uses Local Time? From March 08 until November 01, 2009, the Cayman Islands are an hour behind Florida time and the same as Texas time
