Anyone have pictures from Embassy Suites, Fort Lauderdale?

We are staying at Embassy Suites, Fort Lauderdale, for three nights pre-cruise. I understand that the hotel is very close to the port. Do any of you have pictures of the port from your hotel room? I am hoping to watch our ship from our room the morning of our cruise.

Make sure you ask for a room facing to the east as soon as you make the reservations. I have pictures, but not sure how to put them on here.

There is a little balcony on each floor that you can go out on and take pictures and see the ships if you don't have an east facing room.

We did not have a room facing the port but we did walk out on one of the little balconies to see our ship. I took a picture but I zoomed in so you can't really tell the distance. We loved the hotel and all it offered.

Embassy Suites is in a great location for walking to shops and restaurants. While it's close to the port, it's not so close that you get a very good view. Ask for the east side, high floor and you may get a glimpse.

 

If you want a spectacular view of the ships the Hyatt Pier 66 and Fort Lauderdale Hilton MARINA are the best bet, however they're a longer walk to shops and restaurants.

That is about as good as you can get taking a picture of the ships from Embassy Suites.
