Vancouver Embarkation -- smooth!

Just returned from B2B on the Diamond departing Vancouver on July 18. Arrived at Canada Place by cab at 10:10 am. Had to ask someone what to do with our luggage as we did not see any signs. Gave our luggage to the "guys in the blue jumpsuits". There is a big sign that says tipping is not necessary at Canada Place, but anyone who takes care of my 3 suitcases is getting a tip from me! We proceeded inside and got into the line to go thru the scanners. At 10:20 a lady came out and announced that the line would open at 11:15 and we should all "go and do something else". None of us budged. We were like 10th in line and the line quickly started to get longer behind us. At 10:45 they opened the line to go thru the security scanners. You quickly proceeded thru the lines and on to the customs people. Again, quickly thru that line and on to check in with the Princess people. They had approximately 8 people staffing those lines with others coming in. We got our cruise cards and then sat in chairs they had lined up for bording the ship. They took each chair row in order starting about 11:05. We dropped off stuff in our room and were eating our sailway scallops by 11:30!!! Best embarkation EVER. :)
