snorkeling in Bonaire

NCPDCBOP

Recommended Posts

I'll be stopping in Bonaire via the Holland America Noordam. All of their shore excursions involving water specifically say "if you have diabetes, asthma, epilepsy ro a heart condition, you cannot particiapte. A waiver and full medical condition disclosure is required). This does not appear on any of the other island shore excursions. Does anyone know why? I was wondering if it might be restrictions by the goverment. I would like to snorkel and wonder if there is any independent groups someone could recommend.

It's a good ways from the ship pier, but worth the trip if you would like to snorkel a nice reef area with easy entry/exit. Take a taxi down to Bonaire Dive and Adventure, rent the gear and they have snorkeling on Bari Reef right off their dock!
