Has anyone taken these excursions. We are cruising on Carnival we are considering booking through a private vendor.....they prove to be cheaper. Does anyone know of good excursion sites for Grand Cayman? If you have taken one of these excursions please tell me how it was, if you know of anything comparable through a vendor as well. So basically any info will be GREAT! Even suggestions of your personal favorite excursions!

Dolphin Discovery is a newly opened attraction, so I don't know much about what it entails. Their website is : www . dolphin discovery . com / grand-cayman / cayman-location-overview . asp (all without spaces)

Boatswain's Beach or The Turtle Farm, as it was formerly known, has a wide range of activites for both young and old. I don't know what exactly your excursion entails but most likely you will be going to the "Touch Tanks" where you can pick up the turtles. Most excursions usually include this part in their tours. Boatswain's Beach also features a "Cayman Street" where you get to see how Caymanians lived waaaay before the technology age; the "Predator Reef" which has sharks and eels and other marine predators. You can also watch the curator feed the sharks at scheduled times.

This is just a handful of things that you can do at Boatswain's Beach. For more information about the different activities here is the website link.

OMG, the waverunners out to the stringrays. We just did this last week. It is the best. We booked it online. Our group was 7 ski doos with 10 people, so we had a ton of one on one time with the stingrays. Cost $90 each for DS and DD on their own and $140 total for me and DW together on one, total $320. This also included a "blast" to a beach with only about 15 people there. If you don't like being herded around like cattle this is for you.
