RC Mediterranean Cruise Oct 30,2006

We are thinking of taking the Briliance of the Seas RC starting in Barcelona on October 30. I have never been to Europe and am wondering if that is a good time of year to go on a cruise to Italy and Greece. I don't mind if it is not hot but I don't want cold or rainy. Has anyone gone cruising in Mediterranean that time of year? or on that ship?

Hi - We were on a weeks tour from Oct 30-Nov 6...went to Marseille, Nice, Florence, Rome and Naples. The weather was generally very nice. It was approximately about the same temps as where we live on the east coast; so took a jacket and layers of clothes...along with some rain gear. It did rain in Marseille (Provence)..and a little cloudy in Nice, but really very pleasant weather overall. (50-60's) One can't know with any certainty, but October/November proved to be a good choice for us. We spent the next 2 weeks crossing the Atlantic and heading to the Caribbean. Absolutely beautiful seas .... no turbulence to speak of whatsoever. Good luck whenever you go.... Susan
