Carnival Spirit Stateroom Question

We hadn't intended to cruise this year, but saw a Carnival promotion that we couldn't refuse. Only problem (if it is a problem) is that our rock-bottom balcony cabin has an "upper" berth, in addition to the standard twin/king arrangement. There's no other room available at this price. Does anyone know: Does this unused bed interfere with the flow of the room in any way? If so, would it be a big enough problem for us to consider bumping up to another category to open up more stateroom choices?

How many people will be in sleeping in the cabin?

If there are just 2, you wont even know its there as it will be closed into the ceiling, same for 3. If there are 4 of you, it will drop down over the sofa and the room steward can & will fold it up during the day if requested.

We love this set up when traveling with the kids.

Have a great cruise:D
