popoki321 Posted December 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Can anyone suggest a logical order to my day? We will be in Cozumel from 10am-7pm, docking at TMM. We'd like to rent a car and explore the island on our own. There is alot I'd like to do, but I'd like to do it in a relaxing way...not rushing from one place to another. Spending a fair amount of time in the sun and the water. There are my Must's- Lunch at Sabores, Punta Sur, Snorkeling at Dzul Ha, Shopping at Cinco Soles. These are my maybe's-Nachi Cocom , San Gervasio, Coconuts for a drink. I'm thinking lunch first, shopping last ....what should I do in between (and in what order). Thanks. This board and everyone on it have been amazing and so full of useful information!
CozSally Posted December 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Just staying with your "musts": 1. Cinco Soles 2. Sabores (opens at noon) 3. Dzul Ha 4. Punta Sur Personally I would choose either Dzul Ha or Punta Sur but not both and then add in San Gervasio. In that case: 1. San Gervasio 2. Cinco Soles 3. Sabores 4. Dzul Ha or Punta Sur This is based on the actual physical location of your choices as well as best use of time. Hope that helps!
solita Posted December 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Or... *San Gervasio *Sabores *Cinco Soles at Puerta Maya Pier instead of going to the downtown one and on to *Dzul Ha or Punta Sur (I agree with Sally, both would be overload) and still have time to head around to *Coconuts before cutting back down the cross island road towards your pier
popoki321 Posted December 31, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted December 31, 2004 I knew I could count on both of you for great info! This definately helps. I think I will skip Punta Sur and stick with Dzul Ha for the snorkeling. I'm sure I'll have more questions before my trip! Thanks !
