What are the names of a couple of a couple of local pubs?

 

Is there a locally made liquor or beverage that is a must try? TAI.

Kalik is a local beer. Quite good.

I was kind of hoping to find a local rum. in St Maarten we enjoyed MaDouDou. Alot. Looking for a local equivalent.

I believe there is a Bacardi factory in Nassau.:D

• Bacardi and Bacardi related products. For a refreshing change try a "Bacardi Breezer"
  
• Kalik Beer: Brewed right here in Nassau at Commonwealth Brewery
  
• You can visit the Rum Cake Factory across the road from Club 601 on East Bay Street.

Besides Kalik and Sands beer, the bahamas makes several rums as well as flavored rums . Ole Nassau brand is my favorite, with Yer Ho, Jack Chickarney and flavors like pineapple, coconut and banana. Todhunter-mitchell makes Ricardo brand flavored rum as well.

 

Bacardi no longer manufactures in the bahamas but has a superstore on Bay Street.

 

My favorite is Ole Nassau's Nassau Royale.. a vanilla flavored rum liquor. Not easy to find.. but worth the hunt. I think Burns House Liguors still sells it near the Straw Market.
